Description:  A medium-bodied organic black tea with a brisk clean taste and a mild spicy aroma. Subtle hints of citrus, cinnamon, and nutmeg linger in each sip.

We recommend this Ceylon for its balanced taste and classic Ceylon flavor. This organic Ceylon is brisk and crisp with very subtle spice and citrus notes. A versatile black tea that works well hot and iced, straight up, and with milk and sugar. This is one of our new favorite black iced teas - so crisp and refreshing! 

Sri Lanka, formerly known as Ceylon, has been providing excellent teas since the mid 1800's and is currently one of the largest tea producing countries in the world. This organic Ceylon black tea comes from the Bogawantalwa Valley in the Dimbula region in Western Sri Lanka. The Blackwood Estate is located at an altitude between 3,300 and 4,300 feet above sea level. The Blackwood Estate is known for its ethical commitment to their workers and to their high quality organic black teas.

Ingredients: organic Ceylon black tea from Blackwood Estate in Sri Lanka in OP grade (orange pekoe)

Steep Directions: steep 1 heaping teaspoon of tea per 8 oz boiling water, 205-212°F, for 3-5 minutes
