The food-grade silicone is completely tasteless, which makes a huge difference for delicate green teas. I love that I can just set it on the rim of my mug and let it steep without any fuss.
Filling it with loose leaf and just perching it on the mug is so much easier than my old metal ball, and nothing slips out into the cup. The soft silicone doesn't scratch my favorite ceramic either.
I've been using this for my morning chamomile and the soft silicone makes it really easy to clean. It sits perfectly on my mug without tipping over. Great little infuser for the price.
