Description: An ethereal jasmine green tea that has been handcrafted in a small tea garden in Fujian province China. An airy soft quality with deep lingering notes of jasmine, earthiness, and a pleasant sweet finish. 

An exquisite tea that is a fine example of the artistry of tea. This premium green tea is scented with jasmine flowers and then hand-rolled into pearl shapes.

Scenting of tea occurs when tea leaves are intentionally exposed to aromatic scents. The tea leaves absorb the fragrance and in turn impart a delicious flavor to the tea. The rolling of the leaves into pearls is done so that you can enjoy multiple infusions of this tea. Each time you steep the leaves, the pearls will unfurl and reveal new flavor nuances.

To craft this tea, high quality green tea is harvested from two leaves and one bud. During a 24-hour scenting period, new jasmine blossoms are introduced every few hours to optimize the scenting process. After scenting is complete, this tea is hand-rolled into a pearl shape and allowed to dry.

Ingredients: organic jasmine scented green tea, jasmine flowers

Steep Time: steep 1-2 teaspoons of rolled tea per 8 oz below boiling water, 175°F, for 30 seconds to 3 minutes. Steep multiple times in increasing time increments such as 30 seconds, 45 seconds, 60 seconds and so on until the pearls completely unfurl.
