Description: Vanilla blended with honeybush tea from the Cederberg Mountains of South Africa. A smooth herbal tea with vanilla and woodsy cedar notes.

Honeybush is from South Africa and is the sister plant of the South African rooibos plant. Honeybush's flowers smell of honey which is how the plant earned it’s name. The taste of honeybush is similar to rooibos but is more full-bodied with roasted honey notes. It is a good option for those that want a full-bodied no caffeine herbal tea. Honeybush is known for its antioxidant properties and is found to be high in Vitamin C.

Ingredients: honeybush tea from the Cederberg Mountains of South Africa, vanilla

Steep Directions: steep 1-2 heaping teaspoon of tea per 8 oz boiling water, 205-212°F, for 7-10 minutes

No Caffeine

I've been brewing this as an evening treat—the honeybush base makes it naturally sweet, and the vanilla-cedar combo is oddly comforting. Perfect wind-down tea.

The cedar note hits first and then the vanilla smooths it out, which I didn't expect from an herbal blend. Honeybush keeps it from tasting thin the way some vanilla teas do. Been drinking it every night this week.
