A classic green tea with steamed vegetal notes of edamame and asparagus with a lingering earthy note.

This tea is crafted in China in the Japanese style of steaming the leaf instead of the typical Chinese manner of pan-frying the leaf. The result is a vegetal green tea with sweet grassy earthiness and a clean finish without any smoke or roasted notes.

steep 1 heaping teaspoon of tea per 8 oz below boiling water, 175°F, for 2-3 minutes

Christopher E. ★★★★★

I usually drink my green tea hot, but this one over ice with a spoon of honey is what got me through last week. The vegetal flavor stays smooth instead of turning bitter, even when I forget and let it steep too long.

Matthew C. ★★★★★

The grassy, vegetal notes come through exactly as described, and it's smooth enough to drink plain without any bitterness. I've been brewing it hot in the mornings and also tried it iced with a drizzle of honey — both ways it's become my go-to.

Ruby ★★★★★

I keep a jar of this on my desk and brew it hot every afternoon, and the grassy, vegetal notes are exactly what I crave when I need a reset. It’s smooth enough to sip plain, but a drizzle of honey really brings out a gentle sweetness that feels like a treat without being heavy.
