Description: A sleepytime tea with chamomile and light mint notes. The dominant flavors are peppermint with a herbal chamomile note. Excellent with honey!

Our sleepytime teas are designed to aid in relaxation and bring restorative sleep. These teas will prepare the body for a deep sleep without any morning fatigue. We've blended together healing and restorative botanicals that can help you fall asleep and stay asleep throughout the night. We recommend drinking them one hour before bed.

In this particular sleep tea there is Valerian root, nature’s Valium that helps people fall asleep and stay asleep. Chamomile is known to reduce anxiety and lemon balm is a plant known to help you relax and sleep. A touch of yarrow and peppermint which are both known to aid in digestion and soothe the stomach.

Safety Note: Please consult your healthcare provider before use if you are pregnant or nursing, or if you take medication. Valerian may cause drowsiness and may increase the effects of alcohol or sedative medications. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Steep Directions: steep 1-2 heaping teaspoon of tea per 8 oz boiling water, 205-212°F, for 7-10 minutes

I was worried the mint would overpower everything, but it's actually pretty subtle and the chamomile comes through more. Steeped it for about five minutes before bed and finished the whole mug without needing honey. The 2026 batch tastes fresher than what I remember from last year.

The mint hits right away but settles into something cozy and calming, not at all sharp. I brewed a cup before bed and the earthy chamomile lingered nicely into the second steep. This 2026 batch tastes noticeably fresher than the last tin I had.
