Description: Tulsi, aka holy basil, has been revered for its medicinal value throughout India for thousands of years. Ayurvedic texts describe holy basil as a pillar of sacred holistic herbal medicine. The tulsi holy basil leaf taste is softly minty with licorice, clove, pepper, and herbaceous green notes.

Tulsi is an adaptogen plant that helps the body cope with mental, physical, and emotional stress. It is known to be soothing, uplifting, and rejuvenating. Tulsi is known to support a healthy immune system and have anti-inflammatory properties.

In India, this no caffeine plant has been used for centuries to ease sore throats, lower fever, prevent/reduce cold & flu symptoms, help with respiratory disorders, work as an expectorant, and help with mouth infections.

For our tulsi holy basil tea, we've blended together the three most popular varietals of the plant (rama, vana, and krishna) to create a powerful herbal tea that has the benefits of each varietal.

Steep Directions: steep 1-2 heaping teaspoon of tea per 8 oz boiling water, 205-212°F, for 7-10 minutes
