I usually take my tea with milk, and this one holds up to it without going flat and watery like some breakfast blends do. It's got that malty backbone but still finishes brisk enough to wake you up. Already halfway through my second tin.

Steeped this for exactly four minutes and got that proper brisk morning kick without any bitterness creeping in. The malty layers hold up beautifully even after the cup cools, which isn't something I can say for most breakfast blends.

The briskness is exactly what I want first thing in the morning—it cuts right through and wakes me up without any bitterness. I've been brewing it strong in a mug with a splash of milk and it holds its own perfectly.
