The bamboo feels much smoother than the plastic scoop I was using before, and it's the perfect length for reaching into my matcha tin. It's lightweight but doesn't feel flimsy at all.
I was skeptical about spending more on a single spoon, but the long size is perfect for reaching the bottom of my tall matcha tin without getting powder everywhere. The bamboo feels light in the hand yet sturdy enough that the tip hasn't frayed after a couple months of daily use.
The bamboo has a nice smooth finish with no splinters, and the scoop holds just the right amount of powder for a single bowl. I went with the longer size since my matcha tin is fairly deep, and it reaches the bottom easily. Feels light in the hand but sturdy enough that I don't worry about it cracki
