Assam Jamguri Estate TGFOP1 Organic

The apricot note really comes through when I brew this without milk, which surprised me for an Assam. It's medium-bodied enough to drink in the afternoon without feeling heavy, and there's a cocoa thing at the end of each sip.

I usually take my Assam with milk, but this one is smooth enough that I've been drinking it straight. The apricot note is subtle and the cocoa lingers at the end. Two teaspoons per cup and it still doesn't turn bitter.

The cocoa note comes through more than the apricot once you add a splash of milk, which I didn't expect from an Assam. It's medium-bodied but sturdy enough that it doesn't go bitter when I forget and let it steep an extra minute. Already halfway through my second order.
