The Ceylon base keeps the lemon from tasting like candy, which is exactly what I wanted. Steeped it hot for about four minutes and it still had that brisk bite without going bitter.

I brewed a big pitcher this morning and the brisk Ceylon base really holds its own against the lemon—tastes like a proper Arnold Palmer without any syrupy sweetness. The balance is spot on, so I didn't even need to add sugar, which never happens with iced tea for me.

I've been drinking this over ice all week and the black tea stays brisk instead of getting bitter when it sits. That sweet lemon note hits first, then the tea comes through clean.
