The buttery, steamed-vegetable taste is so smooth and savory — completely unlike any other green tea I've tried. The deep, rich liquor from these shade-grown leaves makes for a truly luxurious morning cup.

I’m really enjoying the depth of flavor in this gyokuro—the toasted nut note comes through beautifully with each steep. It brews a vibrant green liquor that’s both rich and smooth. Only minor gripe is the price, but for the quality it feels justified.

I was worried the seaweed note would be too strong, but it's actually subtle and pairs nicely with the steamed vegetable flavor. Only complaint is the price, since this kind of shade-grown tea doesn't come cheap. Still, a little goes a long way at lower brewing temps.
