説明: 力強く、滑らかで、緑茶の植物ようなノートが特徴の日本緑茶。番茶は、他の日本緑茶よりもコクが豊かで、土のような風味があります。

晩夏に収穫される日常の定番。番茶は「普通の茶」を意味し、日本ではその力強い風味と強い個性で楽しまれています。

番茶は、高級煎茶を生産するのと同じ茶樹から作られます。煎茶は春に収穫されます。番茶は収穫期の遅い晩夏に収穫されます。この遅い収穫期により、茶葉は煎茶よりも力強い風味を持ちます。さらに、番茶には煎茶の製造時に廃棄される大きな葉や上部の茎が含まれています。これらの大きな葉や上部の茎が、番茶の強い緑茶の味の原因です。

原材料: 日本産晩夏収穫の緑茶

抽出時間: 1杯の茶葉（山盛り小さじ1杯）を8オンスの沸騰直前のお湯（160-175°F）で1-3分抽出します。
